Why who you are matters

The NCLEX® tests mastery of essential nursing concepts and facts- but many graduates who do well on tests don't make great nurses, and many nurses who have trouble with nursing exams make terrific nurses.

The reason for this is that nursing is fundamentally a caring profession. The attitude and emotional perspective that you both bring to the profession and learn from your work as a nurse will, finally determine the contribution you can make as a nurse and the satisfaction you get from the profession.

We care - about our students and about our profession. We chose to wear "our heart on our sleeve" because we want to emphasize what we value to people considering an NCLEX® prep course.

Our commitment to the profession

Many years ago we wrote what we believed our mission was:

To increase the number of licensed nurses in the workforce thereby improving overall work experience and patient care at every level.

To support and mentor nursing students throughout their nursing education and licensing process.

To offer high quality innovative and creative teaching strategies.

To help foreign-trained nurses, repeat test-takers and first-time test-takers improve their reading skills and acquire more effective test-taking techniques to ensure success.

In every class we teach, and measure our success by how we meet these goals.

What we can do for you

Some students do have a good grasp of the essential facts and concepts tested on the NCLEX® but lack confidence because the test question format is a wall they can't scale. Many, many other students know the basic facts, but haven't learned how to connect the facts they know. And many students do need help in some content areas. We work with individual students and try to meet their individual needs.
