Frequently Asked Questions

How does your review differ from other review classes? We teach live courses and all of our teachers have teaching certificates and at least ten years of teaching experience.  While we do teach test-taking strategies, our primary focus is helping students understand key nursing facts and concepts.

How large are your classes? We pride ourselves in being able to provide individual attention within a group setting. Most classes average 40 students. Except during peak graduation season those numbers may be higher.

How often do you give classes? Monthly. Most months we offer day, evening, and online classes for your convenience. Class days and times vary. (See schedule for more info.) Click for schedule

What is your guarantee? Although you will love us to tell you that our passing rate is 100%, it is not! Many students ask if we can guarantee them that they will pass. Keep in mind you paid your nursing school thousands of dollars and they never did guarantee you.

We have helped students to pass that have graduated as many as 30 years ago and others that have failed NCLEX® as many as 9 times. We do guarantee that you will be given essential techniques, strategies, and a clearer understanding of many difficult nursing concepts. If you study and apply yourself, your chances of success are excellent! If necessary, you may repeat the entire course within 6 months of your original class date for only $50.

What is the price of the course? For the day intensive courses and the evening courses you will pay either $499 ($399 Georgia – Early Registration), $549 or $599 depending on when you register. For online courses prices may vary. Click here for online options.

What forms of payment do you accept? Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards. You can also pay by mailing us a money order, or check. If you have a Paypal account you can use that, or you can set up a Paypal account for this payment. Remember that to get the benefit of the lower early registration tuition, we must receive payment 10 business days prior to the first day of class (for off-site classes payment must be received within 14 or more business days prior to the first day of class ).

Do you help foreign nursing students? Yes. We have helped foreign nursing students, coming from many countries, including: Canada, China, The Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, India, Korea, Nigeria, Pakistan, The Philipines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Africa and several countries in the West Indies. Our small class sizes allow foreign nurses to get the extra attention they may need in addition to assistance with cultural aspects of nursing in the United States.

What’s your experience with repeat test takers? We have had very good success with repeat test-takers. Often these students had previously worked with other test prep courses. Our approach helps students identify areas where they are weak so they study more efficiently. Our focus on helping students understand the content enables many repeat test takers to approach the NCLEX® with confidence for the first time.

Do you offer private tutoring? Yes, we offer in-person, online and telephone private tutoring. We then provide those students a blue print of specific areas in need of remediation. The fee for private tutoring is $75 per hour. Each session is a minimum of 2 hours.

Can class sessions be made up? Yes. Classes can be made up within one year in future classes pending space availability.

Are you near public transportation? Yes. The N6 bus stops in front of our building. The LIRR West Hempstead Station is within walking distance. (West Hempstead, NY location). Click for directions by car.

How long after the course should I take my exam? Unless there is an unusual situation, we recommend that you take the NCLEX® within 1 month after you finish our course.
