Frequently Asked Questions
How does your review differ from other review classes?
Our mission is “To open and inspire minds through creative and innovative nursing education.” Our classes are not scripted. Each class is instructed based on the needs of the individuals in that class. We offer student interaction and mini learning groups, as well as play games. Our instructors are Masters prepared Registered Nurses as well as Certified Teachers and as a result, are able to collaborate educational as well as nursing principles to address all learning styles. We do not simply answer questions all day. Students are taught how to determine the correct answers and not merely memorize answers from previous test questions. Instead, we focus on assisting students to master concepts that will enable them to think critically. Finally, you can understand WHY!
In addition, our doors are always open for questions after you complete the course. We even give you a “good luck” call and “pep talk” before your exam.
How large are your classes?
We pride ourselves in being able to provide individual attention within a small group setting. Most classes range from 8 to 30 students.
How often do you give classes?
On a monthly basis. Some months we offer both day and evening classes for your convenience. Class days and times vary. (See the schedule tab for more info)
What is your guarantee?
Although you will love for us to tell you that our passing rate is 100%, it is not! Many students ask if we can guarantee them that they will pass. Keep in mind your nursing schools never did guarantee you. We have helped students to pass that have graduated as many as 30 years ago and others that have failed NCLEX® as many as 9 times. We do guarantee that you will be given essential techniques, strategies, and a clearer understanding of many difficult nursing concepts. If you study and apply yourself, your chances of success are excellent!
If necessary, you may repeat the entire 40 hour course within 6 months for only $50 (registration fee).

Do you help foreign nurses?
Yes. We have a large population of foreign nurses. Common international students include: Philippines, Africa, Haiti, Russia, India, Puerto Rico, and the West Indies. Our small class sizes allow foreign nurses to get the extra attention they may need in addition to assistance with cultural aspects of nursing in the United States.
“I failed the test 5 times already and have taken other review classes before. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.” Do you offer individual tutoring?
Yes. You are not alone! First, you must take a 3 hour comprehensive exam. Next, you will be given a blue print of specific areas in need of remediation. Individual tutoring will be arranged with an instructor. We also offer telephone tutoring for students that cannot commute. However, you must come to the office for an initial screening.
The cost is $75 per hour. Each session is a minimum of 2 hours. Currently our passing rate for individual and telephone tutoring is 100%. (As of Jan 2006)
Can class sessions be made up?
